From my novel Love Again: “Be what she never had. Erase her unfortunate experiences. Become her hope in her present, so she’ll see you in her future.”
To become what a woman, do the simple things. This isn’t always a matter of “reinventing the wheel,” but being open and honest and communicative. Other things include spending quality time with her, developing a wonderful friendship that will make the relationship strong and vibrant. And then balanced that out with doing other things outside open doors. All the wine and dining, and gifts, should serve as a compliment for the nontangible things you’ve done for her. And the other guys that did her wrong in her past wouldn’t just be a memory. She will eventually forget about them.
